It offers a user experience that’s as fluid and smooth as that of the iPad itself – making use of quick swipes to move back and forward between web pages, a card-style view to move between recently opened sites, and a constant full screen view. It’s the first browser app that’s genuinely a re-think on an iPad browser and designed from the ground up specifically for Apple’s tablet.
It offers a minimal UI and an easy flow through favorite web pages.
It supports sub-tasks, projects and sub-projects, recurring tasks, priorities, and offline access.Ĭoast by Opera: A great alternative browser for the iPad with a fresh and innovative approach. It also works well in a browser, though I rarely make use of that capability.
It looks great and works great for me on the iPad, an Android smartphone, Mac, and Windows. Todoist combines a handsome, easy to use interface with a powerful set of features and superb cross-platform support. Todoist: The best to-do and task management app for the iPad, and that’s saying something because it’s a category with a number of stellar apps in it. More featured animals are added regularly. The endangered animals shown in the app are all majestic creatures, including Giant Pandas, Marine Turtles, Elephants, Tigers, Bison, Snow Leopards, Polar Bears, and Dolphins. All its pages are beautifully designed, with strong typography and the stunning imagery that tells the animals’ stories. The app’s interface is clean, light, full of interactive elements and fun to use. It’s also full of good information on these species, why they’re endangered and what the biggest threats are, and good information on how we can help. Full of spectacular photos of some magnificent animals that are sadly also endangered species. WWF Together: A wonderful app from a great organization, the World Wildlife Fund. Any apps that are repeat choices from 2012 will be marked with an asterisk next to the their names. Of course there are plenty of new choices too. It’s worth noting that there are a number of repeat winners in this list, because they are still eminently worthy of being on it. Once again this year I’ve spent huge amounts of time looking at and reviewing iPad apps, and I’m happy to be sharing my 4th annual list of choices for the Best iPad apps of 2013. The impressive quality, and quantity, of iPad apps continues to be one of the big reasons why the iPad remains the leading tablet device and is so hugely popular. And of course we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to great iPad games and entertainment apps. From heavy-duty productivity and business apps to wonderful educational apps, to beautiful apps for working with photos and for creating art, music, videos, and more. By now, there are excellent iPad apps for just about any purpose. The number of apps designed specifically for the iPad hit the 500,000 milestone this year and is now well on its way to 600,000. 2013 has been another memorable year for the iPad App Store.
